November Restoration Event

  • 2010 NW Sammamish Rd, Issaquah, WA 98027 United States United States (map)

Join us for our last Restoration Volunteer Event of 2026 at Lake Sammamish State Park!

Date: November 21

Time: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

Meeting Location: Sunset Beach Bathhouse and Picnic Area, Lake Sammamish State Park

Join Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park (FLSSP) for our November restoration volunteer event! We’ll have two work groups to choose from, offering opportunities to care for the park’s natural spaces, learn about local restoration efforts, and make a positive impact on this special place.

Registration is required so we can plan accordingly, but this event is free and open to the public! Please note that a Washington State Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to the state park and can be purchased when you enter the park.

What to Bring and Know:

🌧️ Rain or shine! FLSSP restoration events take place rain or shine. Weather conditions can vary significantly between your location and the work site, so please come prepared.

  • Dress for the weather: Wear plenty of waterproof layers and sturdy, comfortable shoes. Sunscreen is also recommended!

  • Bring water and snacks: Stay hydrated and fueled throughout the event.

  • Tools and gloves provided: FLSSP will provide all necessary tools and gloves, but you are welcome to bring your own well-fitting gloves.

  • Bring your questions and a positive attitude! We love learning alongside our volunteers and sharing why these restoration projects matter.

  • Know your limits! Please do not work beyond what is comfortable for you so that we can all have a safe and fun volunteer event.

We are so excited to work alongside you to restore, protect, and nurture Lake Sammamish State Park. Whether you are a returning volunteer or joining us for the first time, your time and energy make a difference. We hope to see you there!
