Cooling temperatures and smaller crowds are a great indication of the harvest season, which FLSSP will celebrate this year with Walk n Wag Harvest. We will again celebrate our 4-legged friends as their coats bulk up to prepare for cooler weather.
The Walk n Wag event starts and stops at a cozy fire where you can roast marshmallows and sample dog and human treats.
Then the 3k walk winds its way through the historic apple orchard and other fruit-bearing plants throughout the park. After the walk, visit dog-related vendors at the Doggie Village and enjoy various talks and demonstrations. The walk will begin at 12pm and the village will be open until 4pm.
Here's what's waiting for you on October 18:
3K Walk in the Park — A scenic, leash-friendly walk through Lake Sammamish State Park with your dog by your side. All paces welcome.
Doggie Vendor Village — Browse local pet businesses, grab a coffee, sample treats, and discover services your dog will thank you for.
Pet Costume Contest — The highlight of the day. Dress your pup for the season, show off their best look, and compete for prizes????. Judging happens on-site - don't miss it.
Walk n' Wag is a free community event open to all. Dogs must be leashed.
