What is happening at the Rotunda Shelter?

What is happening at the Rotunda Shelter?  The Rotunda Shelter is getting a new roof just in time for fun picnics this summer. What started as a simple roof job is ending up much bigger.

“When they did some investigating, they found much of the laminated beams that hold up the roof were also in very bad shape,” reports Park Manager Rich Benson. “The new beams are special ordered and take seven weeks to be delivered but they should be here by mid-February.  The project should be at least mostly done by the end of March.”

It’s none too soon to be reserving a covered shelter for your summer plans, whether it be company picnic, class reunion or birthday party. Go to www.lakesammamishfriends.org
