Join us this Saturday, May 9th for Walk n’ Wag
Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park will be hosting Walk n’ Wag this Saturday May 9th at 10 am at Lake Sammamish State Park. Walk n’ Wag is the best dog party on the Eastside celebrating our fur friends and family. Walk n’ Wag will feature a 3K walk showcasing the work that FLSSP is doing to help restore the park, a dog costume contest, puppy playtime and yoga, a nose work demonstration and a other great opporuntities including a chance to make art with your pup and Wicked Rae’s!
Come on down to get in on the action and celebrate spring with our furry friends and family!
Registration is open now to attend this fun fur friendly event so get your tickets early. Our friends at Wicked Rae’s will be crocheting all sizes of fun dog hats that will be available at Walk n’ Wag as well as a fun art project for our community to engage in with their pets. Registration for puppy yoga has limited space so if you are interested in giving puppy yoga a try and seeing all the adorable puppies register here for that specific event.
All donations for our FLSSP hosted events stay right here in your community to be used to enhance the park! In the last year, thanks to your generous donations, Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park have planted over 250 trees and shrubs, purchased two water bottle filling stations for Tibbetts and Sunset Beach, offered free lecture series (Lakeside Lectures) for the community, added in plants to the front entrance and rain gardens near sunset beach and so much more! Thank you for your support.
We hope you join us this Saturday, May 9th at 10 am.
