Boat Launch Repairs Underway

As some of you have likely noticed State Park staff and contractors have launched repairs to the only public boat launch on Lake Sammamish. Repairs to the boat launch began in full yesterday, July 16th, and are likely to continue through July 31st.

Please be mindful of the marine and on land crews as they work in this area. Materials will be staged in the middle sections between lanes as they move along and will have large machines with outriggers out to assist the movement of materials and repair work in the work area. There will be traffic flow assistance in this area with individuals in vests. Please be respectful of instructions when using the Lake Sammamish State Park public boat launch during construction and keep in mind the work being done is meant to improve public use and enjoyment of the lake and boat launch.

During the in water work there will be signs that indicate what is acceptable in this area. During the construction there is no fishing from or lingering on the docks. While construction is happening on lanes 1 and 2, the public can continue to launch from lane 3, but please do not interfere with the ongoing work or stand in or near lanes, dock and gangways.

The crew will be generally working on this project Monday - Thursday 6 AM - 4:30 pm through July 31st. They will be cleaning up in the area each night with more clearing out on Thursday to allow for maximum open lanes during non-construction times.
