Fall FLSSP Events at the Park

As we wind down our summer here at Lake Sammamish State Park and approach the fall season, we are looking forward to what is ahead and hope you will join us for some fun fall and winter programming at Lake Sammamish State Park.

This September we will start up our fall restoration series focused on our Tibbetts Creek site and the front entrance gardens. Our first event will occur on September 28th where we will get to digging out the blackberry roots and other weeds in preparation for planting more trees in October and combatting invasive grass in November. We will also be undertaking a replanting of the front entrance gardens during our fall events. We are excited to welcome you to our restoration crew this fall as we work to improve our public lands for our community and our Pacific Northwest wildlife and fish. We also invite you to attend our volunteer appreciation event this September 28th. FLSSP wants to celebrate the wonderful contributions our volunteers make to Lake Sammamish State Park. FLSSP will be hosting you for lunch and a walk around the park led by FLSSP Board Members. We would love to have you attend. Our final ArtDoors of the summer season will be held September 21st from 1 pm - 3 pm at the flex space near Sunset Beach. Come join your fellow crafters and make some art at Lake Sammamish State Park. We will bring materials or you can bring your own. We can’t wait to see what you create.
